This Union NJ kitchen renovation at 2 Vermella Way transformed a worn, dated kitchen into a brighter space designed for everyday cooking and easy entertaining.
The homeowner wanted more usable counter space and storage without making the room feel crowded, so the new plan was organized as a U-shaped kitchen with a generous peninsula. The peninsula creates a natural place for prep, serving and casual seating while keeping the sink, cooking zone and refrigerator within comfortable reach.
Avelora Glossy White Slab cabinets were selected for their clean, contemporary profile and reflective finish, which helps the room feel more open. Charcoal quartz countertops provide a durable contrast to the cabinetry, while the full-height mosaic backsplash and stainless-steel appliances add texture and a polished finish. Deep base drawers, full-height wall cabinets and a dedicated pantry area improve storage for cookware, groceries and daily essentials. Before the order was finalized, the layout could be reviewed through a free 3D kitchen design and itemized quote to confirm cabinet sizes, countertop runs and circulation.
A similar project is estimated at $15,900, including the cabinet package, quartz countertops, standard hardware, delivery and professional cabinet installation. Appliances, permits and major demolition, plumbing, electrical or structural work are quoted separately after site review. From finalized design through installation, the expected timeline is around 4 weeks, depending on field measurements and material availability.
